What happens to your gift from the moment you send it until it becomes hours of workshop, accompaniment and formation.
Who receives your donation
Donations are received by the entity that operates eccekenoo.org (legal name and registration number pending confirmation by Eccekenoo), domiciled in San José, Costa Rica, the contact form, phone +506 8877 7000. The legal name, registration number and legal form (association, foundation or company) will be published on the donate page and here as soon as Eccekenoo confirms them. Until then payment methods appear as pending and no payment is requested.
Payment methods
SINPE Móvil and bank transfer in colones or US dollars (Costa Rica and international) and credit or debit card through Stripe or PayPal. Gateway fees are deducted from the gift according to their published rates. The site does not store card data.
Use of funds
Gifts sustain Project SER and Eccekenoo's social work: workshop materials, emotional and spiritual accompaniment, formation, transport and direct operating costs. If a campaign names a specific purpose and that purpose is completed or cannot be carried out, Eccekenoo will apply the remainder to the closest purpose within the work and inform any donor who asks.
Receipts and accountability
When you email the proof of payment to the contact form we issue the receipt and a summary of where the gift went. Sponsors receive a quarterly report that describes progress without identifying the people accompanied, out of respect for their process and privacy.
Tax deductibility in Costa Rica
Donations may be deductible from Costa Rican income tax under article 8, subsection q) of Law 7092 when the receiving entity is an association or foundation authorized by the Dirección General de Tributación. Eccekenoo will state here whether it holds that authorization. Donors in other countries should consult their own law; we make no deductibility claim outside Costa Rica.
SER Sponsors
Sponsorship is a voluntary monthly gift with no minimum term. You may change level or stop at any time by email; charges already made are not refunded except in case of error.
Refunds
If a gift was processed in error (wrong or duplicated amount), write to us within thirty days and we will return it by the same route. Correctly processed voluntary donations are not refundable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, including Law 7472 on consumer protection where applicable.
